Simple Suppers! Steak and Garlic Herby Tatties!


So Friday I showed you what I do when times in pinch and I need to eat clean, but I also have a list of quick and simple DIY recipes for home, which I thought I’d share over the next couple of weeks.
Today’s recipe is super simple, you can prep the meat the night before and marinate over night making it an even quicker mid-week supper.
Steak and Garlic Herby Tatties!

Prep: Slice your favourite cut of steak into cubes, small cubes if you like your steak well done, larger cubes if you prefer it a bit rarer. Toss the meat in a bowl with some olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil and a little pink salt. Marinate covered in the fridge over night for ease or for 30 minutes if your making for that day.

On the day: Cut up 100g Baby potatoes into halves and pre-boil for 5 minutes.
In a large sheet of foil add your potatoes and top with the steak bits. Wrap well and bake for in the oven at 200 Celsius for 20-25 minutes.

If you want a char-grilled effect, open the steak packets and grill them for the last 5 minutes.
